A Makeover with Deborah

A Makeover with Deborah

December 17, 2016

She has been a friend for over a decade. Like many women, she has a full plate with not a lot of time for herself. Work, wife, mother of two. Sounds familiar, right! I was able to give her tips to do quick makeup looks and how to glam it up a bit when she had more time.

A treat for the skin. We started off with a facial from our Royalty Skin Care line treating for oily skin: Pore Purifying Cleanser, Detoxifying Mask, Rose Water Toning Spritz, Instant Lifting Serum, and Renewing Day Cream with SPF. We finished up with our Touch Glorious Face Primer to prep the skin for makeup application—sealing in all the moisture while keeping her makeup last all day and more brilliant.

A foundation just for her and a fresh face. We tried out a few of our foundations and found that our Touch Mineral Liquid Foundation in color Taffeta was perfect for her skin type and color. (Note: The Liquid Foundation was applied to the right side of her face. The left side used BB Cream mixed with a little Concealer, then Pressed Powder to finish. Both had great results, but with her skin type being on the oily side she preferred the feel of the Liquid Foundation.) She learned the best ways to apply the foundation and used our Touch Mineral Skin Perfecting Concealer to highlight, cover blemishes and dark spots, and brighten her skin under her eyes to make them pop and look more fresh and awake. Next she learned how to contour to add more depth to her facial features with our Touch Mineral Powder Foundation in color Charmeuse and Beachfront Bronzer in color Malibu. We then created a healthy glow with our Moodstruck Minerals Pressed Blusher in color Stunning on her cheeks. Just above the cheek bone, we added a little highlight shimmer using Splurge Cream Shadow in color Elegant (sparkly champagne).

A night out on the town eye look. Deborah has beautiful blue green eyes. We decided on a purple smokey glam look using our Splurge Cream Shadow in color Majestic (sparkly royal purple). We used that all over the and under the bottom outer lash line. We used color Elegant (sparkly champagne) on the inner lid, corner, and inner lower lash line. We used our Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eyeliner in color Perfect (Black) and drew into the crease and outer corner, then blended and blended to get a smokey eye. It was also used on the upper water line to make her lashes look fuller. Then we used Eyeliner in color in color Polished (Silvery Ice Blue) on her lower water line to make her eyes look bigger and with a sparkle. And to finish off her eye look. Yes our amazing Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ Mascara. On her brows, we used our Moodstruck Precision Brow Liner in Medium to define their shape.

A nude glossy lip. With such a dramatic eye look, we used a light lip color to emphasize her eyes. We used our Lucrative Lip Gloss in color Lucid (Exclusive color for Debember 2016).

What do you think of this look? Doesn’t she look gorgeous?
