Vintage and Baroque Inspired Look
March 6, 2016
I just love the vintage and baroque style and Younique products were perfect for this makeup look. I hope this inspires you to do something fun and creative with your Younique products.
GETTING A GOOD BASE
I started with a clean and moisturized face using Illuminate Clean Facial Cleanser and Divine Daily Moisturizer. Then I applied a light coat of Glorious Face and Eye Primer. This gave a perfect canvass to apply the makeup. Using foundations with a flawless finish is critical for photography. I used Touch Mineral Cream Foundation and Touch Mineral Pressed Powder Foundation for the perfect base. I wanted her face to be one the whiter side, we used Manic Panic Virgin White Pressed Powder Gothic Vampire which added that contrast I was looking for above the jaw bone and nose.
THE EYES & Brows
For the eyes, I used Moodstruck Minerals Pigment Powder in color Heartbroken all over the lid and under the lash line and Curious below the brow bone using Younique brushes. You can get bight and rich colors by lightly wetting your brush with Refreshed Pure & Natural Rose Water instead of tap water. Tap water has all kinds of yucky stuff you don't want to put near your sensitive eyes. You can also use the Rose Water to sprits on your face to add hydration and subtract redness and oil. I often use this after I have washed by face. On the top and lower water line, I used Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eye Liner in color Perfect which is black. Last but not least, Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+. This is the most amazing mascara I've ever tried. There was no need to bother with false lashes for this look.
I hope you have been inspired by this Vintage & Baroque Inspired Younique look. It was a lot of fun to create and the results were amazing.
