Baroque Inspired Younique Look

Baroque Inspired Younique Look

August 8, 2015

This was a fun photo shoot to create. I used Younique products to create this Baroque inspired look with dramatic bright royal colors. I hope this inspires you to do something fun and creative with your Younique products.

Getting a good base

I started with a clean and moisturized face using Illuminate Clean Facial Cleanser and Divine Daily Moisturizer. Then I applied a light coat of Glorious Face and Eye Primer. This gave a perfect canvass to apply the makeup.

The eyes

Several colors of Moodstruck Minerals Pigment Powder were applied to the eyes using Younique brushes: Dignified, Regal and Angelic. You can get bight and rich colors by lightly wetting your brush with Refreshed Pure & Natural Rose Water instead of tap water. Tap water has all kinds of yucky stuff you don't want to put near your sensitive eyes. You can also use the Rose Water to sprits on your face to add hydration and subtract redness and oil. I often use this after I have washed by face. Under the lower water line, I used Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eye Liner in color Pristine which is white. It gives the illusion of brighter and bigger eyes. Last but not least, Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes (Original formula). This is the most amazing mascara I've ever tried. There was no need to bother with false lashes for this look.

The Lips & cheeks

For the cheeks, I used Moodstruck Minerals Blusher in Stunning. Originally the blusher was packaged as loose pigment powder and is now offered as a pressed blush in a cute compact with mirror.

For the lips, I used Lucrative Lip Gloss in Loyal which is clear. There are 9 colors available which are amazing but for this look I used the clear gloss and added the same blusher pigment powder I used on the cheeks. I wanted the cheeks and blusher to match. You can also add the eye pigment powers to the clear gloss as well for alternative custom colors. Isn't that fun!

I hope you have been inspired by this Baroque Inspired Younique look. It was a lot of fun to create and the results were amazing.
